Illustrations designed for the “Design your sardines” contest, sponsored by EGEAC – Empresa de Gestão de Equipamentos e Animação Cultural, under the celebrations of popular saints of the city of Lisbon, 2012. From 3526 submissions for the contest, the first two illustrations were classified as follows: Tenório Sardine in 19th place and Maria do Mar Amparo Sardine in 13th place.
These two sardines were later selected by the famous factory Faianças Artísticas Bordallo Pinheiro SA / Vista Alegre to integrate a collection of sardines in porcelain tableware.
